Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Tuesday’s session with a mixed performance, as the All-Share and Premier markets gained 0.28% and 0.46%, respectively, while the Main Market retreated 0.08%.

Boursa Kuwait still witnesses a negative performance as a result to the selling pressures on blue chips in line with the decline registered in the majority of the GCC markets, dragged by the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul), deputy head of the investment research unit at KAMCO, Raed Diab told Mubasher.

Al Aqaria was the top winner with a rise of 15.2%, while Oula Fuel led the losers with 13.2%.

The oil and gas segment topped six gainers with 1.24%, while the industrial sector led four decliners with 0.58%.

Boursa Kuwait’s turnover increased by 3.4% to KWD 9.99 million on Tuesday from KWD 9.66 million in the prior session after the trading volume decreased 16% to 38.38 million shares from 45.7 million.

The Gulf Bank of Kuwait (GBK) was the most active stock on which 5.56 million shares were exchanged at a value of KWD 1.4 million, the stock went up 3.25%.
