Dubai – Mubasher: Damac ​Properties announced it has completed a raft foundation for Tower C of its Aykon City project in Dubai.

The raft foundation was poured with over 289 cubic feet of concrete within 30 hours that requires more than 1,500 tonnes of steel, according to a press release.

Construction of the main columns and core walls can start now with the successful completion of the foundation, which will pave the way for the project to boost the landscape scene in Dubai.

In May, Damac said it completed the raft foundation works for tower B at its multi-tower master development Aykon City. 

Over 200,000 cubic feet of concrete was poured within a 24-hour period, which is the same amount required to fill 75 swimming pools.

Situated on 4 million square feet on Sheikh Zayed Road, Aykon City would offer residents the convenience of an entire city within its complex.
