Mubasher: The All-Share Market added 0.59% or 29.8 points to reach 5,069.36 points by the week ended on 1 November compared to 5,039.56 points in the previous week ended on 25 October.

The Premier Market went up 0.66% or 34 points to close the week at 5,262.86 points from 5,228.31 points.

The Main Market gained 0.45% or 21.08 points to 4,718.04 points from 4,696.96 points the past week.

The All-Share index is facing pressure in the current time due to the decline of the majority of stocks; this reflected negatively on the market, capital market analyst Hassan Al Kandry told Mubasher.

He added that the index is still moving in a volatile range from the support 4,980 points to the resistance 5,056 points.

Al Kandry expected the All-Share index to target the level 5,110 points after exceeding the resistance of 5,087 points; this level needs an improvement in liquidity.

Boursa Kuwait’s turnover grew by 23.7% to KWD 70.23 million this week from KWD 56.79 million a week ago.

The trading volume increased by 49.1% to 365.62 million shares from 245.29 million.
