Boursa Kuwait closes Wednesday in green
Boursa Kuwait has regained the positive momentum

Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Wednesday’s trading session with an increase, as the All-Share, Premier, and Main markets added 0.72%, 0.55%, and 1.05%, respectively.

The telecom segment topped seven gainers with 2%, while the basic materials sector led four decliners with 0.88%.

Al Deera Holding was the top winner with 45.5%, while Sanam led the losers with 26.18%.

Boursa Kuwait has regained the positive momentum, but the stock exchange still needs new incentives to boost the liquidity in addition to attracting local and international investments, deputy head of the investment research department at KAMCO Investment, Raed Diab, told Mubasher.

Boursa Kuwait’s turnover increased by 70.9% to KWD 19.46 million on Wednesday from KWD 11.39 million in the previous session after the trading volume grew by 41.6% to 145.44 million shares from 102.7 million.

The National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) posted the highest liquidity of KWD 2.35 million, the stock added 0.36%.

IFA was the most active stock on which 19.1 million shares were traded, the stock went up 22.7%.
