Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian American Enterprise Fund (EAEF) is planning to pump $3 million into Dawi Clinics in Egypt, the board chairman said.

This partnership with Dawi Clinics will help achieve the EAEF’s goals in the coming period, as well as maintain growth in Egypt’s healthcare sector, James Harmon added.

Egypt’s population is over 100 million, including 45% living the urban and have no enough healthcare services, Harmon indicated.

Moreover, the head of operations at Dawei Clinics said that this partnership will add to the Egyptian healthcare sector by investing in ongoing medical education, highlighting that Dawi has five branches in Egypt and is planning to establish another 50 within the next five years.

It is worth noting that the EAFF had invested more than $135 million in Egypt.
