Cairo – Mubasher: Credit Agricole – Egypt on Tuesday posted a 12% year-on-year increase in consolidated profits for the first nine months of 2018.
Net profit amounted to EGP 1.67 million in the January-September period, versus EGP 1.49 billion in the year-ago period, including minority shareholders’ rights, the bank said in a filing to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).
Moreover, total yield on loans for the bank increased to EGP 4.07 billion at the end of September, compared to EGP 3.5 billion in the same period last year.
As for the standalone business, profits rose to EGP 1.67 billion in the nine-month period, versus EGP 1.5 billion in the prior-year period.
