Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Wednesday in red territory, after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) retreated 77.39 points, or 1%, to 7,673.56 points.
By 10:45 am Saudi time, TASI’s trading volume reached 39.06 million shares exchanged through 29,840 transactions at a turnover of SAR 863.58 million.
The capital goods, retailing, materials, telecommunication services, and banks sectors levelled down 1.7%, 1.5%, 1.4%, 1.1%, and 0.8%, respectively.
On the other hand, the consumer durables and apparel sector rose 2.1%.
The Saudi Industrial Export Company’s (SIEC) stock was the worst performer with 9.93%, whereas Al Sorayai Trading and Industrial Group’s stock was the best performer with 9.9%.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market remained stable at 2,443.91 points.
