Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Tuesday in the red after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) inched down 3.75 points, or 0.05%, to 7,556.4 points, driven by a drop in its blue chips.
By 10:30 am Saudi time, TASI’s trading volume hit 15 million shares exchanged through 14,000 transactions at a turnover of SAR 341.5 million.
The capital goods, telecommunication services, materials, and banking sectors fell 1.2%, 0.34%, 0.09%, and 0.04%, respectively.
On the other hand, the insurance sector levelled up 0.33%, while the real estate management and development sector edged up 0.28%.
The Saudi Industrial Export Company’s (SIEC) stock led losers with 9.94%, whereas Al Saqr Cooperative Insurance Company’s stock led gainers with 4.32%.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu secondary market, remained unchanged at 2,429.15 points.
