King Salman to establish SAR 11.8bn projects in Tabuk

Riyadh – Mubasher: The projects which Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz has announced launching them on Tuesday during his visit to Tabuk reached 151 with cost that exceeds SAR 11.8 billion, Tabuk Province’s governor Fahd bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz said.

The Commission for Tourism and National Heritage (SCTH) with 11 investments at a value of SAR 98.3 million, while Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs will carry out 69 projects at a value of SAR 757.8 million, according to Tabuk Province’s official Twitter account.

Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture (MEWA) will implement 21 investments at SAR 1.49 billion, while Ministry of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources will carry out three ones at a value of SAR 4.94 billion.

The Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON) will deliver two projects at a value of SAR 45.8 million, while the Ministry of Housing will carry out two investments at SAR 407.8 million.

At the level of education projects, Ministry of Education will deliver six various projects and five for University Tabuk with total cost of SAR 1.58 billion.

On a related note, Ministry of Transport will carry out 16 projects at a value of SAR 1.63 billion.

Earlier on Tuesday, the Saudi King unveiled plans to begin in establishing projects at Duba port in Tabuk region at a value of SAR 876.09 million.
