Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Ministry of Communications and Information Technology on Sunday has signed an agreement with the Saudi Telecom Company (STC) to implement the third phase of providing broadband services to remote areas.
This deal is considered a part of the Ministry's efforts to offer broadband services across the whole Kingdom as a part of Saudi Vision 2030, the Minister Abdullah Al-Sawahah said.
The third phase aims to cover 444,080 houses, and will provide services for more than 2.5 million persons.
The services will be offered in Riyadh, Qassim, Makkah, al-Madīnah al-Munawwarah, AlBahah, Tabuk, Jazan, Hail, Asir, and Najran.
The first and second phases were finished during July 2018.
