As part of WOQOD’s ongoing expansion plans to be able to serve everyarea in Qatar, Qatar Fuel “WOQOD” opened Wholesale Market Petrol Station on Sunday,2nd   December 2018, and by this raised its network of various petrol stationsto 80.

WOQOD’s CEO, Engr. Saad Rashid Al Muhannadi, said: We are pleasedto open new fixed petrol station on Wholesale Market are. WOQOD aspires to expandits petrol station network in the country to meet the rising demand forpetroleum products and achieve the goal of providing customers with access tobest-in-class products and services at their convenience and comfort. WOQOD hasrecently accelerated the process for the construction of new petrol stations tomeet the fuel and energy needs of the country. WOQOD team would like to extendtheir gratitude to all concerned governmental and private entities thatcontributed to the completion of this project.”

Wholesale Market is spread over an area of 5700 square meters andhas 3 lanes with 9 dispensers that will serve Wholesale Market and its neighborhood.

The new petrol stations offer round-the-clock services toresidents, and include Sidra convenience store, sale of LPG cylinders, inaddition to sale of gasoline and diesel products for light vehicles.

Further he added that WOQOD is currently overseeing theimplementation of 16 new petrol stations, some of these stations are expectedto be operational during the current year, noting that there are 9 stations inthe bidding phase and 14 stations in the design phase.

Al-Muhannadi concluded his announcement by saying that “As part ofits strategic expansion plan, WOQOD is targeting the achievement of a total of130 fuel stations by the end of 2020”.
