Mubasher: Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC), a subsidiary of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC), has completed the construction of a new power plant, named M20, at the Mina Al Ahmadi Refinery, KOC’s deputy CEO for projects Abdullah Fahad Al Ajami has revealed.

The project is valued at KWD 20 million ($65.77 million), he told Kuwait’s Alrai newspaper, noting that the firm implementing the project had completed all works pertaining to the plant.

A total of 22 sub-stations have also been moved, added to 12 transmitters, eight of which belong to the Ministry of Electricity and Water, from the old M20 station to the new one, the top official went on, indicating that the new plant utilises the latest technology and is now working at full capacity.
