Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) on Thursday announced that trading on the shares of Qatar Aluminums Manufacturing Company (QAMCO) will begin on Sunday, 16 December.

The Qatar Financial Markets Authority (QFMA) has approved a proposal for listing QAMCO on the Qatari bourse after the firm has fulfilled all necessary administrative and technical requirements, according to the QSE’s statement.

Accordingly, the number of listed companies on the QSE will increase to 46.

QAMCO will be listed on the industrial sector with a symbol QAMC.

“Price floatation for QAMCO will be permitted only for the first day of listing however; price fluctuation on the second day and thereafter will be permitted by 10% up/down as the case for all other listed companies,” the statement highlighted,” the statement highlighted.

Moreover, standard procedures of the initial public offering (IPO) will be applied on the first day of trading.

The company’s authorised and issued capital amounts to QAR 5.6 billion which 100% is paid up.
