Mubasher: The US private sector added more 179,000 jobs in November, according to a payroll report on Thursday.
“Although the labor market performed well, job growth decelerated slightly,” ADP Research Institute’s co-chairman Ahu Yildirmaz said.
Employment in service providing businesses recorded the largest figure, with 163,000 jobs added between October and November, where professional and business services registered additional 59,000 jobs.
As per business size, medium businesses were the top gainer last November, with job gains of 119,000, the ADP non-farm payroll processor said.
“This growth points to the midsized businesses’ ability to provide stronger wages and benefits,” Yildirmaz said, adding that “it suggests they could be more insulated from the global challenges large enterprises face.”
