Abu Dhabi - Mubasher: Hotel revenues in Abu Dhabi rose by 5.5% year-on-year during the first eight months of 2018, according to a recent report by Statistics Centre Abu Dhabi (SCAD).

Revenues from hotel stays increased by 5.4% in August, compared with July.

The growth in revenues came alongside a record rise in hotel prices by 4.1% on an annual basis, with a 1.6% month-on-month increase.

For the eight-month period prices rose 6.1% year-on-year.
