Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Monday’s trading session with a positive performance after its benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) levelled up 5.42 points, or 0.07%, to 7,844.69 points.

By 10:40 am Saudi time, TASI’s trading volume reached 15.93 million shares exchanged through 17,430 transactions with a liquidity of SAR 354.9 million.

The insurance sector led gainers with 1.4%, followed by the media sector with 0.6%.

The telecommunication services, materials and banking sectors added 0.15%, 0.1%, and 0.06%, respectively. 

On the other hand, the energy sector edged down 0.97%, while the healthcare equipment and services sector tumbled 0.26%.

Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance Company’s (Enaya) stock topped gainers with 7.4%, while Bank AlJazira’s stock was the worst performer after losing 1.95%.

Meanwhile, NOMU, the main index of the Nomu secondary market, jumped 25.89 points, or 1.1%, to 2,450.73 points.

The stocks of Raydan Co and Baazeem Trading Co grew 0.78% and 0.45%, respectively.
