Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed Tuesday’s trading session in green territory, supported by the growth of the energy and telecommunication sectors.

The general index increased by 26.61 points, or 0.56%, to finish at 4,815.91 points.

The ADX’s trading volume reached 58.57 million shares exchanged with a turnover of AED 201.517 million.

The energy sector topped the ADX’s risers adding 1.38% as Abu Dhabi National Energy (TAQA) grew 6.45%, while the telecommunication sector and its sole stock, Emirates Telecommunications Group (Etisalat), went up 1.07% each.

Similarly, the banks sector advanced 0.43% as Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank levelled up 1.64%.

On the negative side, the real estate sector plunged 0.66% as Aldar Properties declined 0.65%.
