Cairo – Mubasher: The Legal Clinic, a specialised company in SME legal consultation, supported by Levari, said that it provides fees-free legal advice services for all startups and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), along with a raft of other legal services with massive discounts.

Startups do not give enough interest to legal matters, that is why we are here, SME legal counsel Amr Hareedy told Mubasher on the sidelines of the 2018 RiseUp Summit.

The RiseUp Summit is the MENA region’s largest innovation and entrepreneurship summit, which took place in the American University in Cairo (AUC) from 7-9 December.

Levari, an international law firm, established The Legal Clinic in 2017 to help startups and SMEs, capitalising on its years-long expertise in serving hundreds of startups.

Marking the second participation of The Legal Clinic, the three-day event enables startup founders to meet lawyers and get free-of-charge legal consultancy services.

We also contributed to setting up “the Startup Manifesto”, an initiative by the RiseUp summit to help build a startup ecosystem in Egypt, the Arab world's most populous country, Hareedy added.

The Legal Clinic provides services to all startups, whether participating in RiseUp or not, Hareedy said, noting our headquarters at the AUC Greek Campus is open for all people.
