DHC to distribute SAR 88.5m dividends for 2018

Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia-based Dallah Healthcare Company (DHC) said that its board of directors decided to distribute SAR 88.5 million cash dividends, or SAR 1.5 per share, for the full year 2018.

Distributions, which represent 15% of DHC's capital par value, will be paid on 6 January 2019, according to a statement to the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) on Thursday.

“Eligibility of dividends shall be for the shareholders who own shares on closing on 20 December, and registered with the Securities Depository Center Company (Depository Center) at the end of the second trading day following the date of maturity,” the statement added.

DHC last reported a 26% year-on-year profit drop in the third quarter of 2018, registering SAR 101.4 million, compared to SAR 136.8 million.

From January to September, the Saudi healthcare provider’s profits slid 21% to SAR 325.5 million, compared to SAR 410.9 million in the corresponding period last year.

DHC’s stock levelled up 0.17% to close Wednesday’s trading session at SAR 58.90.
