Mubasher: The All-Share index of Boursa Kuwait closed Thursday’s session 1.79% lower, dragged by five segments.

Similarly, the Premier and Main markets retreated 0.01% and 0.09%, respectively.

Boursa Kuwait’s turnover decreased to KWD 15.84 million on Thursday from KWD 15.94 million in the previous session after the trading volume shrank to 77.48 million shares from 88.71 million.

The banking segment led five decliners with 0.26%, while the oil and gas sector topped six gainers with 6.84%.

National International Holding (NIH) led the losers with 6.45%, while Automated Systems headed the winners with 8.33%.

PetroGulf was the most active stock on which 7.4 million shares were exchanged.

The National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) posted the highest trading value of KWD 3.8 million, the stock added 0.24%.
