Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Monday’s trading session on a mixed note, as the All-Share and Main markets added 0.06% and 0.37%, respectively, while the Premier Market went down 0.09%.

The trading value is still focused in the Premier Market as promoting Boursa Kuwait in FTSE index approaches, capital market analyst Saad Al Rumi told Mubasher.

The oil and gas segment topped four gainers with 0.53%, while the consumer goods sector led six decliners with 9.9%. Sanam headed the losers with 9.9%.

Boursa Kuwait’s turnover shrank by 10.7% to KWD 20.96 million on Monday compared to KWD 23.48 million in the previous session after the trading volume decreased by 13.5% to 97.73 million shares from 112.94 million.

The National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) posted the highest liquidity of KWD 4.66 million, the stock closed at 843 fils.

Boubyan Holding was the most active stock on which 6 million shares were traded, the stock went down 0.87%.
