Boursa Kuwait’s indices close Wednesday on mixed note
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover shrank by 20.3% to KWD 14.74 million

Mubasher: The All-Share and Premier markets went down 0.13% and 0.3%, respectively, while the Main Market added 0.21%.

The consumer services segment led four decliners with 0.7%, while the oil and gas sector topped five gainers with 0.51%.

Boursa Kuwait has been among the best performing stock exchanges in the region during the past period in line with the completing of listing the stock market in FTSE emerging markets index as well as the increasing liquidity on blue chips, deputy head of the investment research unit at KAMCO Raed Diab told Mubasher. 

IFA led the losers with 10.07%, while Mashaer Holding was the top winner with 10.77%.

Boursa Kuwait’s turnover shrank by 20.3% to KWD 14.74 million on Wednesday from KWD 18.5 million in the previous session after the trading volume grew by 6.4% to 95.7 million shares from 89.98 million.

GFH was the most active stock on which 14.5 million shares were traded, the stock went down 3.26%.

NBK posted the highest trading value of KWD 2.88 million, the stock closed at 832 fils.
