Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait registered a mixed performance during the week ended on 27 December, as the All-Share index edged down 0.5% or 25.3 points to 5,071.31 points from 5,096.56 points.

The All-Share Market registered negative performance after it has broken its main support level at 5,100 points in line with a growing liquidity, capital market analyst Hassan Al Kandry told Mubasher.

The Premier index retreated 0.78% or 41.6 points to 5,267.26 points from 5,308.88 points in the past week ended on 20 December.

Meanwhile, the Main index went up 0.1% or 5 points to 4,715.29 points from 4,710.35 points.

Boursa Kuwait’s turnover shrank by 69.2% to KWD 82.14 million this week from KWD 266.85 million a week ago.

The trading volume decreased by 33.9% to 509.58 million shares from 771.41 million last week.

The number of transactions decreased by 34.6% to about 19,880 from nearly 30,390 in the past week.

The market cap declined by 0.45% or KWD 130 million week-on-week to KWD 28.97 billion from KWD 29.1 billion.
