Dubai – Mubasher: Sultan Butti bin Mejren, director-general of the Dubai Land Department (DLD), affirmed that there were no plans to reduce the 4% real estate registration fees in Dubai.

Dubai’s adopted incentive measures have a more in-depth impact when it comes to supporting the real estate sector’s sustainable growth, bin Mejren told Al Ittihad newspaper.

The DLD will have an effective role in the investment incentives approved by the Government of Dubai during the next period, the top official adding, noting that such incentives will contribute to maintaining the emirate’s leading position among real estate investment destinations in the region.

Property deals in Dubai witnessed unprecedented growth, having recorded AED 19 billion ($5.17 billion) 2,081 transactions during the last 10 days of 2018 through, a Monday statement by the DLD indicated.
