Mubasher: Gold levelled down at Friday’s settlement, as the stock markets flourished on positive data regarding jobs in the US.

Comex February gold declined $9, or 0.7%, to close at $1,285.8 per ounce.

Meanwhile, prices increased by 0.2% for the week, according to FactSet.
