Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) has recorded its third successive weekly growth.
The Tadawul All Shares Index (TASI) went up 237.86 points, or 2.9%, to 8,448.02 points in a week.
Market capitalisation increased by SAR 51.57 billion to over SAR 2 trillion at the end of the week, compared to SAR 1.95 trillion a week earlier.
Over the week, the market’s liquidity declined 2.8% to SAR 15.24 billion, while trading volume retreated 6.47% to 602.83 million shares.
A number of 10 sectors went up on top of which food production (6.28%+), utilities (4.7%+), and banks (4.64%+).
Equally, 10 sectors declined at the end of the week, including retailing (1.59%-) and pharmaceuticals (1.51%-).
