Mubasher: Qatar National Cement on Thursday reported a rise in profits in the fourth quarter of 2018 and the full year 2018.

The firm logged QAR 129.03 million ($35.7 million) in profit in Q4-18, up 53.4% from QAR 84.12 million ($23.3 million) in the same period of 2017, Qatar National Cement said in a filing to the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE).

As for the full-year 2018, the Qatari cement firm achieved QAR 347.83 million in profits, a rise of 6.4% year-on-year from QAR 326.92 million.

Earnings per share (EPS) amounted to QAR 5.32 for 2018 against QAR 5 in 2017.

Qatar National Cement previously posted a profit fall to QAR 218.8 million in Q3-18 from QAR 242.8 million in the corresponding period of 2017.
