Dubai – Mubasher: The UAE cabinet has agreed to establish payment linkage systems in the GCC countries.

The session presided over by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the UAE vice president and prime minister and ruler of Dubai, has also adopted the formation of a foreign direct investment committee in a bid to facilitate the establishment of investment applications in vital sectors, Gulf Business reported.

During the session, which took place on Sunday, the cabinet adopted an amendment to the law on trade agencies to allow them to become public and private shareholding companies.
