Mubasher: The Qatar Central Bank (QCB) on Tuesday has issued three-tranche treasury bills (T-bills) worth a combined QAR 600 million ($164.78 million).
The first tranche amounted to QAR 400 million and would be due on 1 May with a yield of 2.52%, according to the QCB’s statement.
With a six-month maturity, the second QAR 100 million tranche will mature on 6 August with a yield of 2.45%.
The third tranche, worth QAR 100 million, will be due on 5 November with a nine-month maturity and a return of 2.69%.
The QCB issues the short-term investment instruments to provide cash liquidity.
