Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia revealed plans to raise the number of Russian tourists to the kingdom over the coming period, CEO of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) Kirill Dmitriev has said.

The kingdom’s investments in Russia, especially in tourism will rise soon, while the Russian-Chinese-Saudi Fund is set to begin investing in the Saudi tourism industry in the coming months, Dmitriev  told Russia Today (RT) channel.

“We’d like most of our on-stage groups, including the Mariinsky Theatre, to visit Saudi Arabia more often,” the Russian top official indicated.

On Monday, Dmitriev unveiled that his country was planning to boost joint tourism investments with Saudi Arabia.

Earlier this week, Dmitriev attended the launch of two megaprojects in Al-Ula region.
