Qatar’s Communications Regulatory, QFC ink digital media deal
The deal aims to improve mutual cooperation between the two bodies

Mubasher: The Qatari Communications Regulatory Authority (CRA) and the Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) signed a memorandum of understating (MoU) to support the digital media sector in Qatar.

The deal aims to improve mutual cooperation between both bodies through providing their services to local and international companies, the state-run utility said in a statement.

The two bodies will support projects that will help in raising the sector’s contribution to the GCC nation’s gross domestic product (GDP).

The MoU seeks to enhance the development of the digital media sector which plays a key role in supporting Qatar’s transformation into a knowledge-based economy, Minister of Transport and Communications Jassim Seif Ahmed al-Sulaiti said.
