Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) ended Wednesday’s trading session with positive performance, supported by the growth of the real estate and energy sectors.

The general index inched up 2.17 points, or 0.04%, ending the session at 5,026.66 points.

The ADX’s trading volume reached 66.04 million shares exchanged with a turnover of AED 268.947 million through 2,033 transactions.

The real estate sector topped risers with 3.14% as Aldar Properties jumped 3.5%, while the energy sector levelled up 2.48% as Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (TAQA) grew 6.59%.

Meanwhile, the consumer staples sector headed losers after falling 1.44%, dragged by Abu Dhabi Aviation which dropped 3.33%.
