Dubai Airports launches new DXB brand
DXB partnered with XDubai to deliver a one-of-a-kind stunt

Dubai – Mubasher: Dubai Airports announced launching the new brand of Dubai International Airport (DXB) which aims to transform the world’s busiest international airport into a major destination for hospitality and entertainment.

After welcoming its one billionth traveller, the world’s biggest airport plans to offer incomparable hospitality with a wide range of dining, art, music, fashion and cultural experiences, according to Dubai Airports’ statement on Wednesday.

As part of the new brand launch event, DXB partnered with XDubai to deliver a one-of-a-kind stunt by Emirati athlete and skydiver Mohammed Baker.

In the 112-metre free fall through the Dubai sky, skydiver Mohammed Baker jumped out of a helicopter with a parachute showing the new DXB brand.

“Our partnership with XDubai and this stunt are in line with that direction, symbolising Dubai’s spirit of adventure and ambition, as well as our vision to push boundaries and create exciting new experiences,” Dubai Airports’ Vice President of marketing and corporate communication Anita Mehra said.

The official event was attended by the UAE’s vice president and prime minister, Dubai Airports’ chairman Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Dubai Airports’ CEO Paul Griffiths, in addition to other top officials.
