Boursa Kuwait falls on Thursday, liquidity grows
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover increased by 61.4% to KWD 44.36 million

Mubasher: The All-Share index of Boursa Kuwait closed Thursday’s session 0.67% or 35.32 points lower at 5,197.38 points.

Similarly, the Main and Premier markets went down 0.17% and 0.89%, respectively.

Thursday’s session registered selling-transaction liquidity that reached 70% in the Premier Market and 68.5% in the Main Market at a total selling average of 69.12%, capital market analyst Talal Yussuf told Mubasher.

The telecom segment led eight decliners with 2.05%, while the insurance sector topped three gainers with 0.74%.

Ithmaar led the losers with 9.7%, while UPAC was the top winner with 8.6%.

Boursa Kuwait’s turnover increased by 61.4% to KWD 44.36 million on Thursday from KWD 27.48 million in the previous session, after the trading volume grew by 48.2% to 180.42 million shares from 121.71 million.

GBK was the most active stock on which 48.18 million shares were traded at a valued of KWD 13.38 million, the stock went down 2.5%.
