TASI, MT30 rise; Nomu declines at Thursday’s close
The food and beverages sector inched up 0.98%

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) closed Thursday in the green after its benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose 9.06 points, or 0.1%, to 8,628.28 points.

TASI’s trading volume fell to 92.5 million shares, from 104.58 million on Wednesday, while liquidity reached SAR 2.34 billion ($624 million), against SAR 2.67 billion ($711.47 million).

The food and beverages sector inched up 0.98%, followed by the telecommunication services and banking sectors with 0.78% and 0.1%, respectively.

On the flipside, the diversified financials sector shed 0.77%, while the capital goods sector declined 0.56%.

Allied Cooperative Insurance Group’s (ACIG) stock topped gainers with 3.14%, while Abdul Mohsen Al Khodari Sons Company’s stock was the worst performer with 9.98%.

In the meantime, the main index of the Nomu secondary market, NOMU, fell 14.2 points, or 0.41%, to finish at 3,430.89 points.

National Building and Marketing Co’s stock led losers with 2.28%, while Alomran Industrial Trading Company’s stock topped gainers with 5.88%.

The joint index between Tadawul and MSCI, MT30 index, went up 3.01%, or 0.24%, to close the last session of the week at 1,277.54 points.
