Mubasher: Oil futures ended Thursday in green, supported – partially – by the optimism regarding the outcome of the trade talks between the US and China.  

March Nymex WTI rose $0.51, or 1%, to close at $54.41 per barrel. 

China’s crude oil imports climbed 4.8% year-on-year in January to an average of 10.03 million barrels per day (bpd), exceeding the 10 million bpd mark for the third month in a row.
