Mubasher: The Main Market closed Monday’s session 0.09% higher, while both the All-Share and Premier markets retreated 0.04% and 0.09%, respectively.

The mixed performance in Boursa Kuwait since the beginning of this week reflects the cautious and anticipation among investors in line with the absence of incentives, capital market analyst Yacoub Al Mashaan told Mubasher.  

The consumer goods segment topped five gainers with 1.2%, while the financial services sector led five decliners with 0.62%.

Ithmaar topped the winners with 14.3%, while Kuwait Investment led the losers with 7.5%.

Boursa Kuwait’s turnover increased by 8.4% to KWD 18.15 million on Monday from KWD 16.75 million in the previous session after the trading volume shrank by 1.6% to 120.67 million shares from 122.57 million.

The Gulf Bank of Kuwait (GBK) was the most active stock on which 15.15 million shares were exchanged at a value of KWD 4.11 million, the stock went down 1.82%.
