Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Tuesday’s trading session higher, as the All-Share market gained 0.67% or 34.63 points to 5,220.66 points, while both the Main and Premier markets added 0.53% and 0.72%, respectively.

Boursa Kuwait has reversed its downward direction that was witnessed in the previous sessions in line with purchasing transactions on blue chips in the banking segment, deputy head of the investment research unit at KAMCO Raed Diab told Mubasher.

The financial services segment topped eight gainers with 1.09%, while the consumer goods and basic materials sectors were the only decliners with 0.54% and 0.2%, respectively.

Tamdeen Investment was the top winner with a rise of 13.5%, while Arkan Al Kuwait led the losers with 13%.

Boursa Kuwait’s turnover increased by 25% to KWD 22.67 million on Tuesday from KWD 18.18 million in the prior session after the trading volume grew by 40.9% to 169.96 million shares from 120.67 million.

The National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) posted the highest liquidity of KWD 5.27 million, the stock added 1.16%.

Investors was the most active stock on which 19.84 million shares were traded, the stock went up 4.27%.
