Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) closed Tuesday’s trading session in green territory, pushed by selective purchases.

The general index inched up 15.33 point, or 0.60%, closing the mid-week session at 2,565.85 points.

The bourse’s trading volume reached 103.19 million shares exchanged with a turnover of AED 171.75 million through 2,427 transactions.

By the end of the session, the DFM’s market capitalisation increased by AED 1.23 billion to AED 343.35 billion.

The investments sector topped gainers with 3.37% as Dubai Investments grew 4.8%, while the real estate sector levelled up 1.84% as Emaar Properties and Emaar Malls increased by 3.09% and 1.88%, respectively.

Similarly, the consumer staples sector advanced 0.61% on the back of National Central Cooling Company’s (Tabreed) 1.8% jump.
