Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Thursday’s trading session in the red after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell 9.7 points, or 0.11%, reaching 8,557.6 points.
By 10:30 am Saudi time, TASI’s trading volume hit 10.26 million shares exchanged through 9,600 transactions at a turnover of SAR 204.2 million.
The capital goods, utilities, telecommunication services, banking, and materials sectors levelled down 0.64%, 0.53%, 0.13%, 0.12%, and 0.04%, respectively.
On the other hand, the insurance sector led gainers with 0.31%, while the real estate investment traded funds (REITs) sector rose 0.09%.
Saudi Amiantit Group’s stock was the worst performer with 4.7%, while the stock of Trade Union Cooperative Insurance Co. was the best performer with 4.8%.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, increased 5.14 points, or 0.15%, to 3,458.88 points.
Abdullah Saad Mohamed Abo Moati for Bookstores Company’s stock topped Nomu’s gainers with 3.67%, while Raydan Co’s stock shed 0.53%.
The joint index between Tadawul and MSCI, MT30, decreased 2.17 points, or 0.17%, to 1,264.2 points.
