Three sectors boost ADX at Thursday’s close
The banks sector topped the gainers adding 0.97%

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) ended Thursday’s trading session with positive performance, pushed up by the growth of the real estate, banks, and energy sectors.

The general index grew 37.22 points, or 0.74%, ending the last session of the week at 5,098.11 points.

The ADX’s trading volume reached 87.42 million shares exchanged with a turnover of AED 258.863 million through 2,589 transactions.

The banks sector topped gainers with 0.97% as First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) and Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) grew 1.08% and 0.93%, respectively.

Similarly, the real estate sector advanced 0.92% on the back of Aldar Properties’ 1.13% increase, while the energy sector went up as ADNOC Distribution and Dana Gas levelled up 1.81% and 0.24%, respectively.

The telecommunication sector and its sole stock, Etisalat, grew 0.47% each.

Meanwhile, the industrial sector was the bourse’s only decliner falling 2.89%.
