Mubasher: Petrofac Emirates has awarded China State Construction Engineering Corporation Middle East (CSCEC ME) a $130 million (AED 477 million) contract for the second phase of the Qushawira Field Development in Abu Dhabi.

The agreement includes the delivery of engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services, and the installation of a network of pipes, according to Construction Week Online.

The second phase of the development project of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company’s (ADNOC) Qushawira Field includes the enlargement of the field’s production capacity by 143,000 barrels.

On Thursday, Adnoc’s refining unit awarded a pre-front-end engineering and designing (pre-feed) contract to the Wood Group for the new refinery in Ruwais.
