Mubasher: Qatar's consultative assembly, Shura Council, on Monday approved a draft law to extend the concession granted to Qatar Fuel (Woqod) for commercialising, selling, transporting, and distributing petroleum products.

In early January, the GCC nation’s council of ministers endorsed a draft law regarding the five-year concession given to the Qatari firm starting from 18 June 2018 and sent it for approval by Shura Council. 

Woqod previously reported a 20.3% year-on-year profit hike during the fiscal year 2018, logging QAR 1.16 billion from QAR 964 million in FY17.
