Cairo – Mubasher: Raya Contact Center on Wednesday reported a 14% year-on-year increase in consolidated profits for the full-year ended 31 December 2018.

Net profit amounted to EGP 180.53 million last year, versus EGP 158.5 million in 2017, including minority shareholders’ rights, the company said in a filing to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).

Revenues surged to EGP 908.5 million in the 12-month period ended December 2018 from EGP 759.09 million a year earlier.

At the level of standalone business, Raya Contact Center logged EGP 128.6 million in profits, compared to EGP 94.8 million in 2018.

In the same vein, the company’s board of directors has proposed cash dividends distribution worth EGP 90.15 million or EGP 0.85 per share for 2018, according to a separate statement.

The dividends proposal will be discussed during the company’s ordinary general meeting (OGM), Raya noted.

In November, Raya Contact Center posted a net consolidated profit of EGP 138.7 million for the first nine months of 2018, versus EGP 123.9 million in the corresponding period of 2017. Its revenues increased to EGP 672.19 million in the nine-month period of 2018, compared to EGP 557.05 million in the same period a year earlier.

Meanwhile, standalone profits stood at EGP 110 million in the January-to-September period of 2018, versus AED 81.05 million in the same period the year before.
