Cairo – Mubasher: The US dollar exchange rate on Thursday slipped by EGP 0.3 to EGP 0.6 against the Egyptian pound at national banks.

The USD rate fell by EGP 0.3 to EGP 17.35 for buying and EGP 17.45 for selling at Egypt’s two largest state-owned lenders; namely, the National Bank of Egypt (NBE) and Banque Misr, as well as at the National Bank of Greece – Egypt.

The USD rate tumbled by EGP 0.4 in Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank – Egypt (ADIB) to EGP 17.43 for purchasing and EGP 17.58 for selling.

At the Commercial International Bank (CIB), Credit Agricole Egypt, and Arab African International Bank (AAIB), the greenback slid by EGP 0.3 to EGP 17.35 for purchasing and EGP 17.45 for selling.

Meanwhile, the EGP exchange rate against the USD fell by EGP 0.6 at Bank Audi, recording EGP 17.34 for buying and EGP 17.44 for selling.
