TASI, MT30 near stable; Nomu rises slightly at Tuesday’s open

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Tuesday with a negative performance after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell 2.2 points, or 0.03%, to 8,650.96 points.

By 10:45 am Saudi time, TASI’s traded volume hit 33.47 million shares exchanged through 25,400 transactions at a turnover of SAR 602.74 million.

The retailing and banking sectors went down 0.79% and 0.09%, respectively.

On the other hand, the diversified financials sector led gainers with 1.6%, followed by the telecommunication services and materials sectors with 0.54% and 0.15%, respectively. 

Bawan Company’s stock led losers with 2.6%, while Abdul Mohsen Al Khodari Sons Company’s stock topped risers with 9.97%.

Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, rose 4.95 points, or 0.13%, to 3,686.91 points.

Raydan Co’s stock led Nomu’s risers with 1.47%, while the stock of Baazeem Trading Co was the worst performer with 0.17%.

The joint index between Tadawul and MSCI, MT30 index decreased 0.18 points, or 0.01%, to 1,280.8 points.
