ADX hits 11-session high at Wednesday’s close
The investment sector topped risers with 3.56%

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) ended Wednesday’s trading session in green territory, marking the highest level in 11 sessions.

The general index grew 0.37%, or 18.94 points, ending the session at 5,098.32 points.

The ADX’s trading volume reached 72.64 million shares exchanged with a turnover of AED 218.549 million through 2,044 transactions.

The investment sector topped risers with 3.56% as Al Waha Capital grew 3.91%, followed by the telecommunication sector and its sole stock, Etisalat, which went up 0.84%.

Similarly, the banks sector levelled up 0.46% on the back of the heavyweight First Abu Dhabi Bank’s (FAB) 0.81% increase.

On the other hand, the real estate sector headed the decliners falling 1.56% as Aldar Properties plunged 1.56%, followed by the energy sector with 0.25% due to Dana Gas’ 0.87% drop.
