Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Mubadala Investment Company is looking to inject more investments and strike new partnerships in Asia over the coming period.

Abu Dhabi's state investor is targeting investments in several sectors including hi-tech industries, artificial intelligence (AI), healthcare, real estate, and traditional private equity, Mubadala’s deputy group CEO Waleed Al Mokarrab Al Muhairi said in an interview with Bloomberg TV in Hong Kong on Thursday.

He added that the fund has strong partnerships with many different entities in several Asian countries such as Hong Kong, China, Japan, and Singapore.

It is worth mentioning that the GCC sovereign wealth funds are at pains to find opportunities in new areas in a bid to reduce their reliance on volatile oil markets.
