Mubasher: The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) on Wednesday announced issuing treasury bills (T-bills) worth BHD 35 million at a yield of 3.95% on the behalf Bahraini government.
The issue has a 182-day maturity, starting from 31 March, according to the CBB’s statement.
The previous debt notes issued on 3 March has a yield of 4.25 %, the CBB added.
The approximate average price for the new issue, oversubscribed 364%, was 98.041%, while the lowest accepted price stood at 98.022%.
The total outstanding value of Bahrain’s T-bills amounted to BHD 2.110 billion.
