Mubasher: Oil settled higher on Friday, as the conflict in Libya saw grave developments.

May Nymex WTI rose $0.31, or 0.5%, to close at $63.89 per barrel, increasing by 1.3% in a week.

The supply of OPEC members was affected after the Libyan and Venezuelan output dragged down over the political unrest in both countries.
